Filmmaker Michelle Brooks started out in TV working in the BBC Promotions department where she scripted, and directed for BBC shows like Strictly, Dr Who and the Apprentice. Before leaving to Write and Produce several TV Series for Sky TV.
As a shooter she cut her teeth, filming members of the BBC News team like Zeinab Badawi and Mike Emberley for BBC World and BBC News and over the years the growth in Mobile Phone and Ipad Filming in this sector has led to Michelle teaching Mobile Phone Videography around London giving young people access, and allowing them to share their stories.
Michelle has written and Directed several shorts and is in development with her first documentary feature.
