The best deal is to buy a festival pass for £40 as this will get you into all 7 cinema screenings, each featuring about 2 hours of films. Single tickets for each block cost £10. Concessions are available for £8 for those with disabilities (please let us know if you have a carer), seniors, students, and anyone who is out of work or on benefits.

This is a chance to meet Oscar-winning producer Rebecca Harris, a former student at the University of West London, and one of our judges. Her film The Silent Child won the award for Best Live Action Short at the 90th Academy Awards. We will be screening the film and she will be answering questions about her filmmaking career. Then we will show a selection of films from this year’s Student category.
Thursday November 24 – 7pm to 10pm – Horror Night!
The theme of this session is the changing face of horror films, showing how this popular genre has developed in recent years. We will be showing a number of the films submitted to our Horror & Suspense category this year.
We also have a panel discussion hosted by Andrew Sumner. Our first guest is the actress Madeline Smith, who featured in a number of Hammer Horror classics in the 1970s. She also appeared in Carry On films and was a Bond girl in Live and Let Die.
Madeline will have autographed pictures available after the show with the entire proceeds going to Princess Alice Hospice in Esher, a charity that she supports.
To bring the horror story up to date, we will be joined by Mark Kenna and David Creed from Bad Blood Films whose production credits include Sacrilege and The Ripper’s Ghost.
Saturday November 26 – 1pm to 4pm – Imagined Worlds
To boldly go! The imagination of filmmakers knows no limits. Science fiction and fantasy movies take us out of our everyday lives. To different times, different places…different planets. Join us on an amazing journey to new worlds. Featuring a Q&A with producer and writer Ron Fogelman, who recently produced the stage version of The Twilight Zone and has written episodes of Superman.
Saturday November 26 – 7pm to 10pm – The Real World
All human life is here. Documentaries record the experiences of ordinary people with extraordinary stories. These films explore our society, warts and all. They inform us, they disturb us, and they inspire us. This screening includes environmental and smartphone films.
Sunday 27 November – 1pm to 4pm – Laughter and Tears
You can’t have a film festival in Ealing without plenty of laughs. We hope our comedy and drama selections will continue the proud tradition begun by the famous film studios that bear the name of our town.
Sunday 27 November – 7pm to 10pm – More Drama!
All life is drama. Our films explore the rich tapestry of human existence. At the heart of each one is a personal story that pulls at the emotions. And finally, there may be more tears as we announce the 2022 award winners! Join us for an aftershow from approx 9.45. The Ealing Project bar will open until 11pm and we have just added live music with an amazing band we are quite fond of, The Hornets! We’re completely excited they have agreed to come along. So after the awards you can dance until the Ealing Project closes at 11pm! Think Liverpool, 60’s, Rhythm & Blues band based in London.
